BARA: Twenty militants were killed and several others sustained injuries when fighter aircraft pounded the hideouts of militants in two different areas of Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency, official sources said on Thursday. The hideouts of militants were bombed in Kando Gharbai, Nagrosa, Sandana, Kandao and Mehraban Killay in Tirah Valley, official sources said. “Up to 20 militants were killed and more than a dozen injured in aerial strikes carried out in parts of Tirah,” the sources said. Four hideouts of militants were also destroyed in the air strikes.
