WhatsApp is constantly trying to provide its users with the best experience by updating the app regularly. One of its most iconic features is the end-to end encryption, Zee News reported.
The end-to-end encryption on WhatsApp protects all personal messages, photos, videos, and more from falling into the wrong hands.
Taking this one step ahead, WhatsApp last year introduced the Chat Lock feature, which helps people protect their more sensitive conversations.
Adding to it, the messaging app rolled out the "Secret Code" feature, which is an additional way to protect these chats and make them harder to find. By creating a secret code, the locked chat will not show up in your chat list. You can only find it by typing your secret code in the search bar.
With a secret code, you can set a unique password to give your locked chats an extra layer of privacy.
How to turn on chat look on WhatsApp?
Open WhatsApp on your phone, swipe right, or long-press on the chat that you want to lock.
Doing this will open up some options; select Lock Chat. You can either lock it with a face ID or a fingerprint.
How to set up WhatsApp secret code?
To do this, go to your locked chat folder, open settings, tap on secret code, and then select secret code.
Now After this, simply create a code and tap next. Confirm your code and press done.
