The import of wheat has caused a massive loss to the national exchequer and resulted in a major wheat price crisis for local farmers. Why did the caretaker government choose to take this road? Also, why would an unelected government have the authority to make such a major decision? The government needs to hold a proper inquiry into this scandal.
