WhatsApp iPhone users have been provided with another Meta update.

A new video calling menu and the ability to share screens during a video call have been rolled out to iPhone users via WhatsApp version 24.9.74.

Audio sharing, a feature that has been available on Android smartphones for a while now, can now be accessed by iPhone users.

Users were unable to hear the audio when the screen was shared during a video call before this update. However, this fixes the issue now.

WhatsApp also introduced green-coloured buttons and notification icons for all users with the latest update. Interestingly, for iPhone, green has long been a prominent colour.

With the same theme applied to notifications, the colour palette extends beyond dark mode, also encompassing light mode with the latest update now.

In the coming days, these features are gradually rolling out and should reach all users.

Allowing users to send invites for events or parties and collect feedback, WhatsApp also introduced a new capability to community users.
