ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Chief Commissioner, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa, as Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) with an immediate effect.

Muhammad Ali Randhawa has been appointed as the CDA Chairman for being ex-officio member of CDA board under Section 6(2) of CDA Ordinance, 1960. “The federal government is pleased to approve appointment of Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa (BS-20), an officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) as Chief Commissioner ICT/ex officio member of CDA board as CDA Chairman of under Section 6(2) of CDA Ordinance, 1960 with immediate effect and until further orders,” a notification issued by the Establishment Division on Sunday said.

Prior to his appointment at key positions in Islamabad, Randhawa was serving as commissioner Lahore. His services were requisitioned by the Interior Division for further posting in Islamabad.
