The chief minister personally delivered medicines to patients’ homes. She visited the house of a cardiac patient, Rasoolan Bibi, navigating through the narrow streets of service quarters at Shadman Katchi Abadi. Maryam also visited the house of another cardiac patient, Munawwar Malik, at Shadman Katchi Abadi and provided medicines to him.

The CM also inaugurated a Sahulat Markaz in the primary and secondary health care department. She formally resumed the registration process for TB and hepatitis patients. Additionally, she inspected the drug testing lab being established to ensure quality of medicines.

CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif also visited FM Sehat Zindagi and recorded her podcast. The podcast can be listened to at https://www.facebook.com/fmsehatzindag.

She laid the foundation stone of the primary and secondary healthcare development wing and inspected a van for doctors.

Addressing the ceremony, the chief minister said, “The Punjab government has expanded this project to all cities in Punjab. Under this project, two lakh patients will receive medicines at their doorstep. Medicines for two months will be delivered to hepatitis, TB, and cardiac patients, who will receive medicines again after check-ups. The previous government had halted PMLN’s development projects. I envision state-of-the-art health facilities across Punjab in five years, with every city having cardiology, pediatrics, and cancer treatment facilities.”

In her message on International Firefighters Day, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said, “How can we forget the rescuers who give their lives to save others? I salute every brave firefighter on International Firefighters’ Day.” The chief minister said, “Those who jump into burning fires for others without caring for their own lives are the real heroes.” She added, “They face every challenge in the line of duty.”

She said, “The implementation of building safety laws will be ensured to protect high-rise buildings from fires. Necessary steps are being taken to implement Punjab Community Safety Buildings Regulations.”

Maryam Nawaz also took notice of the rape of an eight-year-old girl in Rajanpur. She sought a report from the IGP based on thorough investigation into the matter.
