Ryan Gosling may be a huge Hollywood star, but his children couldn’t care less for it.
In an interview with People Magazine, the 43-year-old actor reflected how his children with wife Eva Mendes simply “don’t care” that their parents are famous.
Instead, his daughters, 9-year-old Esmeralda Amada and 8-year-old Amada Lee, only see them as parents.
In fact, the Barbie star admitted that “there’s nothing” he or Mendes could do that would make them see their parents as anything other than just that – parents.
Gosling recalled, “Eva was on an episode of [the animated television series] Bluey,” which his children are fans of.
As such, the proud parents were excited to earn some cool points from their children.
“We both thought it was going to be huge,” he recalled.
But when her scenes came around, Gosling revealed, “They didn’t like it. They were like, ‘Fast-forward through that part!’”
Despite the children’s disinterest in their parents’ Hollywood stardom, however, they are still interested and engaged by their work.
Previously, for example, Gosling revealed that his daughters learned his I’m Just Ken choreography from Barbie.
Now, for his new movie The Fall Guy, his little ones strictly banned him from doing any dangerous stunts.
“My kids didn’t want me to be set on fire. They were like, ‘No. No fire.’ So I didn’t do it,” he revealed.
