KARACHI: Syngenta Pakistan Limited, an agriculture innovation and technology company, has launched an enhanced version of its 'CropWise Grower' mobile application, aimed at boosting farm productivity for millions of Pakistani farmers.

Federal Minister of State for IT & Telecommunication, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, launched the app, which offers a range of features including instant crop disease detection, pest diagnosis, and localized weather information.

The app's 'Crop Doctor' feature, powered by advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI), provides a one-stop solution for farmers to identify and address crop problems efficiently. Other features include e-commerce, online ordering, and crop management information.

Minister Khawaja praised the company's efforts in bringing digital technologies to farmers, aligning with the government's priorities in agritech and digitalization. She emphasised the importance of technology in enhancing agricultural productivity, promoting economic well-being for farmers, and ensuring food security.
