LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made the decision to appoint a new Chief Curator.

The PCB has issued an advertisement for the position, inviting qualified candidates to submit their applications by May 16. The new Chief Curator will be responsible for planning, operational management, and all pitch and ground-related matters.

According to sources, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is keen to appoint someone with a modern approach.

It is worth noting that Agha Zahid is currently responsible for pitch preparation, while the quality of pitches and grounds in Pakistan has been the subject of criticism. “The PCB is seeking applications for a new Chief Curator. The position involves planning, operational management, and pitch and ground-related matters,” said the source. Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is seeking a candidate with a modern approach. “The appointment of a new Chief Curator signals the PCB’s commitment to improving pitch and ground standards,” the source added.
