End-of-life care specialist Dr Christopher Kerr discussed his experiences and how children and adults handle death differently in an interview with the Next Level Soul podcast.

He thinks that dreams, imagination, and what we "see" when we pass away are all a part of the human experience. It's our last-ditch attempt to make sense of our life.

According to his observations, dying adults frequently review their lives and experiences in dreams or daydreams, remembering significant events and seeing themselves conversing with important figures in their past.

In most cases, these fantasies involve the person making a connection or reestablishing a connection that enables them to revisit happy memories.

In contrast, children's perceptions of death differ greatly from adults', according to him.

Considering that the little individuals enter the procedure free from a lifetime of worry and fear related to dying, they frequently experience less apprehension.
