The Karachi administration has launched a campaign to check the expiry dates of medicines and licences of medical stores and those hoarding essential commodities.
According to a press statement from the commissioner’s office, under the direction of Commissioner Syed Hasan Naqvi, three medical stores in District South have been sealed for operating without permission and with fake licences.
South Deputy Commissioner Altaf Sario presented a report to Syed Hasan Naqvi that on Thursday, a campaign to check the expiry dates, hoarding, and licences of medical stores in the district had begun.
Aram Bagh Assistant Commissioner Altaf, along with the South District drug inspector, visited the medicine market and sealed three stores.
