Iranian president’s wife visits centre for orphan children

ISLAMABAD: The spouse of Iranian president, Jamileh Alamolhoda, visited Pakistan Sweet Home centre on Monday, where she was received by Member National Assembly (MNA) Aseefa Bhutto Zardari.

She commended the role played by the centre in providing safe and nurturing environment to the orphan children. She also underlined the impact of supporting young generations for a successful future for the nation.

The wife of the Iranian president met the head of Pakistan Sweet Home, Zamard Khan (Hilal Imtiaz), and the children of Sweet Home. “I am very happy to be here today. The way these children have welcomed us, we are proud,” she said.

Zamard Khan said he was very grateful to Jamileh Alamolhoda and Aseefa Bhutto, who visited the centre. Special ‘dua’ was offered for the people of Palestine, especially the children of Gaza.

Jamileh Alamolhoda, also addressed a session with intellectual and influential women of Pakistan. MNA Aseefa Bhutto Zardari was also present. In her address Jamileh Alamolhoda highlighted the cultural similarities between Pakistan and Iran, and appreciated the women of Pakistan, who had preserved their cultural values. She also underlined the crucial role played by women in progress and development of a society and economy of a country.
