LAHORE: Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has been forced to withdraw from the ongoing T20I series against New Zealand due to a hamstring injury sustained during the third T20I clash.
The blow came while Rizwan was at the crease, causing him to retire hurt. Following a thorough medical evaluation, the team doctor advised against Rizwan’s further participation in the series, emphasising the importance of rest and rehabilitation for a complete recovery.
