Several of the Gulf countries including the UAE were hit by unprecedented flooding earlier this week, causing widespread disruption. Several parts of Pakistan, particularly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan are also reeling from flash floods.
Our rulers cannot ignore the catastrophic consequences of climate change any longer and must devise viable strategies to save the human race.
