Princess Charlotte is the first royal woman to not be displaced by her younger brother in the line of succession.
The history-making move came as a result of change in British Act of Succession ahead of the birth of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s first child Prince George, allowing the right to one day take over the throne even if it was a girl.
