Criticism of Asif Ali Zardari is ridiculous, Memon remarked on Friday. He said that following Shaheed Bibi, Zardari emerged as a symbol of strengthening the federation and represented a metaphor for promoting democracy and discouraging non-democratic forces. Additionally, President Zardari renamed KPK, and Gilgit-Baltistan was granted the status of a province.

He said President Zardari strengthened the federation by championing the slogan of “Pakistan Khappe”. Additionally, he bolstered the federation by granting rights to the provinces through the Eighteenth Amendment.

The tradition established by President Zardari, exemplified by bringing the ANP to the Senate, remains unprecedented in the political history of Pakistan, he added. The senior minister highlighted that the policies and actions of President Zardari played a crucial role in stabilizing democracy in the country and yielding positive effects on the nation. President Zardari, through strategic initiatives such as Vision 2025, worked tirelessly to enhance Pakistan’s position in the global economy, he added.

He further emphasized that national development, stability, economic reforms, increasing investment, and job creation have been the primary objectives of President Zardari, and it is crucial to acknowledge the significant role played by President Zardari in the development and prosperity of Pakistan.

On directions of Senior Minister Memon, a campaign against drug dealers has been underway across Sindh. During this ongoing campaign against drug dealers in different districts, four more drug dealers have been arrested. Additionally, authorities have recovered 5 kilograms of hashish, 500 grams of heroin, locally made liquor, and weapons from the possession of the arrested individuals.

In Karachi, a team from the Excise Narcotics Control Korangi arrested a drug peddler during an operation at a building on Khalid Bin Waleed Road. The suspect was identified as Khaliq Noor, who is employed by a private security company. Authorities seized 5 kilograms and 80 grams of hashish, along with 2 SMG rifles, 2 loaded magazines, and 10 rounds from the possession of the accused.

In Rohri, the excise team arrested an individual named Sher Muhammad, also known as Shero Bandhani, and recovered 500 grams of heroin from his possession. The excise narcotics control team conducted a raid in Nawabshah and apprehended an individual named Waqar Rind in possession of 29 liters of locally made liquor. Additionally, in Sakrand, another individual named Ramchand was arrested with 20 liters of locally made liquor.

Memon declared the Sindh government’s unwavering determination to ensure a drug-free future. He declared that drug dealers were a menace to society and vowed to uproot them. He emphasized that drug dealers should not anticipate any leniency, as the government would apprehend them with the full force of the law.
