NC seeks Jinnah Stadium to host Challenge Cup

LAHORE: After Sports Board Punjab (SBP) refused to give Punjab Stadium for the National Football Challenge Cup Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalisation Committee has approached Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for securing Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad for holding the event which will be held from May 1-12.

According to sources NC have written a letter to the PSB, requesting it to provide Jinnah Stadium and its associated venue for the event final round in which 16 teams are set to battle for the title. It is pertinent to mention here that the first phase of the Challenge Cup had been conducted early last year.
