Music streaming service is developing a remix feature
Good news for music lovers, as now you can make your own songs using Spotify’s remix feature, The Verge reported.
The popular music streaming service Spotify, is testing a new feature that will allow users to create their own music and audios by re-mixing songs from their favourite artists, just like TikTok.
According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, the new feature is still underway and policies regarding licensing need to be figured out.
The report also claims that the tool may only be available to users with “Music Pro” premium plan.
Other news channels have also reported that features like a "playlist tuner" is also under works.
Another tool could allow users to set the "tempo range" and "vibe" for their mix by filtering songs by genre, mood, activity and more.
These features will allow users to "flex their DJ skills with different transition styles to create the ultimate mix".
Furthermore, Spotify may also assist users who have no experience in remixing “automatically” “tracks with a similar key, tempo, and style together."
Besides this, the new features may also provide option to “choose how to order your mix, or select auto order to have Spotify sequence it for you".
