Pointless politics

In the name of democracy, political parties are wasting enormous national wealth and productive man-hours of this poor, debt-ridden nation. Posters, concerts and rallies including transporting people (willing, forced or hired) from far-off places to make a rally successful has become a routine. No party understands the fact that it is because of such pointless politics that this hapless nation is dependent on foreign aid, loans and technical expertise for its survival.

No political party has the vision of hard work to achieve self reliance as advised by Quaid-e-Azam. Political parties quote him for political mileage but not for compliance. Consequently, we do not have technical skills to utilise our enormous natural sources, and are begging other nations to develop them for us. It is disgraceful to see these politicians boast about foreign aid, loans and engineered projects/goods as great achievements. It is interesting that we want to become an Asian Tiger without mastering the technical ability to utilise our natural resources and achieving self sufficiency even in low-tech products.
