GILGIT: The Chief Court of Gilgit-Baltistan has allowed a minor girl to reside wherever she wills.
Chief Court Gilgit-Baltistan, while delivering the verdict in the case of alleged kidnapping of the girl, ordered Gilgit police to provide security to the girl.
Justice Jahanzeb read Falak Noor’s medical report in the court. The medical report stated that girl’s age is between 13 and 16 years. She told the court that she wanted to live with her husband.
The girl went missing from her house in Sultanabad area of Danyor tehsil of Gilgit on January 20. The girl’s father had filed a complaint against his neighbor, a 17-year-old boy, with Dinayur police station on January 21.
