DPO Ibadat Nisar told media that it was suspected that both alleged killers, her brother Faisal and father Abdul Sattar, had been molesting the deceased Maria who had become pregnant over which they planned her killing.

He said Faisal’s brother made the video and informed police about the incident. However, police registered a murder case against the two brothers and their father on the complaint of Sadr Police Sub-inspector Ahmad Raza and arrested all the three.

He said after a report was received from the forensic lab, it would be confirmed how she was murdered and whether she was pregnant or not.

Meanwhile, a sister-in-law of Faisal (his brother’s wife) disclosed during investigations that she was threatened by Faisal that if she told anyone about the incident, she and her children would be killed. It is to be mentioned here that the incident had taken place between the night of March 17 and 18.
