ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appointed two Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) on Thursday as his coordinators on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination and Youth Programme.
The prime minister appointed MNA Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmed Barath as his coordinator on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination (NHS,R&C). The appointment of Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmed Barath shall be in honorary capacity, says an official notification.
Following his appointment, Dr. Bharath officially assumed charge as Coordinator to the Prime Minister and visited the offices of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination.
Upon his arrival at the ministry, Secretary Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, alongside other officials of the Ministry, extended a warm welcome to Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed. The secretary gave a preliminary briefing to Dr. Bharath on matters concerning the ministry.
Another MNA, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan has been appointed as Coordinator to Prime Minister on PM’s Youth Programme.
According to two separate circulars issued by the Cabinet Division, the appointment of two coordinators has been made on honorary basis. The prime minister has directed all stakeholders to extend full cooperation to the coordinators in discharge of their official business.
