Naudero House, Larkana rest house declared president’s temporary residence

ISLAMABAD: The Cabinet Division on Thursday declared Naudero House, including the Rest House Larkana, as the temporary official residence of the president, apart from the President House.

The declaration of Naudero House and Larkana Rest House as official residence had taken effect from March 10, 2024 under the President’s Salary, Allowances and Privileges Act, 1975.

A notification said that “In addition to the ‘Official Residence’ of the President of Pakistan, specified in the First Schedule to the President Salaries, Allowances and Privileges Act, 1975 i.e. the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad, the Naudero House, Larkana including the Rest House, Larkana, has been declared as temporary Official Residence of the President w.e.f 10th March, 2024.

“The Ministry of Housing and Works is, therefore, requested to take necessary action in the matter as envisaged under the provisions of the President’s Salary, Allowances and Privileges Act, 1975.”
