LAHORE: Despite not being picked by any franchise for the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad remains hopeful about a national team call-up for the series against New Zealand.
The 32-year-old revealed that selector Wahab Riaz had assured him that his performances in domestic T20 matches would be considered for national team selection. Shehzad expressed his optimism during a media interaction in Lahore, citing his consistent performances in domestic cricket over the past two and a half years. “I have been consistently participating in domestic cricket, and my contributions are well-documented,” Shehzad stated.
