ISLAMABAD: The PTI-backed Sunni Ittehad Council has submitted the name of Omar Ayub Khan as the opposition leader in the National Assembly to the office of Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
Malik Amir Dogar submitted the nomination of Umer Ayub Khan as the Leader of the Opposition on Saturday.
Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Ali Muhammad Khan, Riaz Fatiana, Dr. Nisar Jat and others were present. The plea carries the signatures of 92 legislators of the SIC.
