RAWALPINDI: Islamabad United’s Shadab Khan hoped to make a strong comeback, using his all-round prowess to the fullest in the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9.
In a post-match press conference following victory against Kings, he said he had been trying hard to regain his all-rounder status. “I am trying to get a good opportunity to bat by playing at the top. I am pleased that I am also taking wickets. I have worked hard over the months.
My effort has been to make full use of my all-round abilities and regain my form. I am not thinking about the World Cup at this point of time. The mega event is far away. What I want is to regain my form and make the best use of opportunities coming my way in the shape of PSL. Batting has come neutral to me while in bowling I have to make all-out efforts”.
