Queen Camilla 'no doormat' to be bullied by King Charles amid downtime

Queen Camilla has been a pillar of support for King Charles since his several ups and downs in the public eye.

Royal photographer Arthur Edwards heaped praise on the Queen Consort for her unbridled dedication to the King in a conversation with The Sun's Royal Exclusive show.

It is especially pertinent in the wake of current health battle of the 75-year-old monarch who was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer last month.

"The King is carrying a heavy load but Camilla is supporting and helping him,” he said.

Noting her determination to support the King, Edwards noted, however, “She's no doormat, she will stand up to him, she won't be bullied.”

Camilla recently sparked backlash following announcement that the royal is heading for a private vacation after holding down the fort on her own for over a month.

Critics accused her of abandoning her husband during this difficult time who has been traveling back and forth between London and Sandringham for the treatment of his cancer.

Edwards disputed the backlash in favour of the Queen, saying: "They're incredibly happy together and she will be there supporting [the King] whatever happens to the very end.”
