The Ichhra bazaar incident in Lahore, where a woman was hounded by a mob due to her attire, and other similar cases in the past show how rule of law has been violated in the country. There appears to be an absence of logical reasoning and tolerance among many people these days.
The radicalization of people is an alarming situation and poses a threat to Pakistan’s internal security and its global image. The concerned authorities must take proactive measures to deal with this problem.
