BTS Jungkook continues to make history on Billboard

BTS vocalist Jungkook recently topped the Billboard charts as one of the top 100 K-pop artists.

The BTS member largely dominated the charts, and was followed by all members of Stray Kids, Fifty Fifty, NewJeans, Tomorrow X Together, Seventeen, Ateez, Emhypen, TWICE, BTS, BLACKPINK, Le Sserafim, aespa, NCT 127, NCT Dream, (G)I-dle and ITZY.

Billboard exclusively stated in an article that featured the ranking, revealing: "In 2023, Jungkook truly embraced his nickname as BTS' 'golden' star."

Commenting on the K-pop idol’s spectacular numbers, the platform added: "His official debut solo single 'Seven' featuring Latto not only debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart but spent seven weeks atop the Billboard Global 200, was the No. 1 Global Song of the Summer and won Top Global K-Pop Song at the Billboard Music Awards."

Previously, Billboard announced that Billboard Koreawas in the pipeline, with an inaugural issue of K Volume 1 slated to release in June.

Even when serving in his mandatory military services, Jungkook continued to dominate the charts with his songs, securing top spots on the platform.
