157 BS-19 officers nominated for promotion course

The Senior Management Course is mandatory for promotion from BPS-19 to BPS-20

ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has nominated 157 officers of BPS-19 from federal and provincial bureaucracy to attend the Senior Management Course (SMC) to be held simultaneously in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar from March 25 to July 12.


The list includes 25 officers from Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) comprising Muhammad Umar Masud, Talat Mahmood, Muhammad Suhail Khawaja, Irfan Nawaz, Imran Qureshi Flt Lt (R), Ms. Kalsoom Saqib, Rafaqat Ali, Shozeb Saeed, Sohail Khan, Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Tahir, Khalid Iqbal, Shehzad Fazal Abbasi, Shahzeb Khan, Muhammad Zaman, Usman IChalid Khan, Saadat Hassan, Mehtab Waseem Azhar, Saadia Tehreem, Saba Asim, Ms. Nadia Saqib, Farvah Aamir, Syed Muhammad Masood Nouman, Muhammad Usman and Saira Omar. The nominees also include 10 officers from Pakistan Police Service, 15 officers from Secretariat Group, five officers of Pakistan Customs Service, 10 officers of Inland Revenue Service, five officers of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, 12 officers of Pakistan Foreign Service, two officers of Information Service and one officer from Commerce and Trade Group while the remaining officers have been taken from different federal ministries, divisions and provinces.

The Senior Management Course is mandatory for promotion from BPS-19 to BPS-20.
