The caretaker federal IT minister recently released a video message highlighting the progress made by the IT sector under the current administration and its significant potential, given the right policies. Despite a substantial internet and social media user base, Pakistan's IT exports are modest compared to India.
Nevertheless, recent government initiatives, including a 13 per cent increase in IT exports within the past two months and plans to establish 10,000 e-employment centers across the country, demonstrate promising progress. Sustaining momentum and expert engagement are crucial for continued growth.
