The residents of Johi in District Dadu have faced many difficulties with basic facilities for clean, pure drinking water for years. The lack of clean drinking water causes many water-borne diseases like cholera, diarrhoea, and dysentery among the resident villagers.

Addressing the issue of waterborne diseases in the district requires a multi-faceted approach. Investments in water treatment plants, improvement of sanitation infrastructure, and public awareness campaigns are crucial components. Additionally, promoting hygienic practices can significantly reduce the incidence of waterborne illnesses.
