Three-day Sujawal Youth Stem Learning Festival, organised by SLED, UNICEF

Karachi: The three-day Sujawal Youth Stem Learning Festival, organised by the School Education and Literacy Department (SLED) and UNICEF in collaboration with Thar Education Alliance at the Govt High School Ground Sujawal, started.

Children from various government and private schools were delighted to receive great appreciation from fellow students, teachers, and visitors at their stalls. They had created models educating about climate change, the greenhouse effect, and clean, renewable energy.

There were around 60 models from 45 different schools to demonstrate different topics including hydroelectric cooler, volcanoes, layers of earth maths park and agriculture system with artificial intelligence.

The stalls represented not just the schools but different districts of the laar belt ; Thatta, Badin and Sujawal. There were 31 government schools and 14 private schools from the three districts.

Partab Shivani, in his welcome address, highlighted that the purpose of organizing this festival in Sujawal, Thatta, and Badin is to elevate their education ranking.The festival, centered around the theme of climate change and youth empowerment by Generation Unlimited-UNICEF, aims to connect stakeholders and encourage them to take ownership and action.
