Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, along with other famous personalities, were spotted at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards (DPIFF) 2024, held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
A video making rounds on social media captured a moment where Kareena appeared to ignore her ex Shahid as she passed by him on the red carpet.
In the widely circulated clip, the Kabir Singh actor was seen standing with Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru, sharing laughs while posing for photographs, while the 43-year-old actress, walked past them.
At that point, Kareena greeted only Raj, while Shahid smiled and glanced at her.
Fans reacted with outrage and mostly bashed Kareena for seemingly ignoring Shahid.
One user wrote about the actress, “After chasing him for years and making him fall in love with her just to dump him for Saif gives her no right to show cold shoulder rather SK should’ve done that but he smiled because he’s a gentleman!”
While the other penned, “She turned to see Shahid's reaction later. Shahid looked three times, awkward smile.. first love.”

For the unversed, Shahid and Kareena were in a relationship back in 2004 but they later got separated in 2007.
Shahid is now married to Mira Kapoor and have two children, a son named Zain and a daughter named Misha.
Meanwhile, Kareena tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan after dating for almost 5 yearson October 16, 2012.
She and Saif have two sons together, named Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, known as Jeh.
