ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Commerce, Industries, Investment and Interior Dr Gohar Ejaz will depart for Saudi Arabia on Tuesday (today).

The minister would be heading a delegation of 21 leading businessmen for BtB (business-to-business) meetings with their Saudi entrepreneurs to give the required impetus to the bilateral trade.

The first and largest ever business delegation of top business groups of Pakistan will depart for Riyadh for the B2B Conference on 21 February in Riyadh organized by the Federal Commerce Industry and Investment Minister and Commerce and Trade Minister of Saudi Arabia. Pakistan’s businessmen delegation will make inroads into the KSA market and sign BtB trade contracts.

“We are facing a deficit of $20 billion in trade with KSA -- the biggest economy in the Gulf countries and would try to increase exports through BtB trade on a big scale and that’s why I am leading the largest delegation of various business groups hailing from various sectors of economy,” Dr Ejaz told The News.

He said Pakistan’s entrepreneurs will try to make business-to-business contracts in their sectors of economy.
