Paint project brightens Kasur

LAHORE: AkzoNobel Pakistan Ltd., the maker of Dulux paints, and Akhuwat Foundation, a non-profit organization, have completed their largest “Let’s Colour” social initiative in Punjab, a statement said on Monday.

The project involved repainting the exteriors of over 1,000 homes and community spaces in Mustafabad town, Kasur district, with 8,250 liters of Dulux paint. The project aimed to improve the living conditions and well-being of the 6,000 residents by introducing a variety of colours, mural artworks, and cooling technology. The project also created new economic opportunities and social cohesion for the locals.

The completion ceremony was attended by Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib, Executive Director of Akhuwat Foundation, and Mubbasher Omar, Chief Executive Officer of AkzoNobel Pakistan Limited.
