Now that the PCB has a new chairman in Mohsin Naqvi, a door has possibly been opened for Babar Azam’s return to the captaincy. Since Babar vacated the captaincy after a poor showing at the 2023 Cricket World Cup, Pakistan has one just one match out of eight and was whitewashed in a test series against Australia.
Despite the early exit at the world cup, Babar remains one of the country’s most successful cricket captains.
