A woman and man belonging to the same family were killed and two other family members, including a girl, injured after their motorcycle fell into a pothole in the Memon Goth area on Friday.
A motorcycle accidently fell into the pothole, as a result of which a woman, Rozina, wife of Bilal, and a man, Raheel, son of Baqar, died on the spot while the deceased woman’s husband, Bilal, son of Khuda Bakhsh, and a minor girl were severely injured.
The casualties were transferred to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. According to police, all four persons were travelling on the same motorcycle.
The condition of the injured girl is also reported to be critical.
