LAHORE: Master Changan Motors Limited, a joint venture between Pakistan's Master Group and China's top automaker Changan Automobile, said on Tuesday it had produced 40,000 vehicles in Pakistan, marking a major milestone for the company.
The company celebrated the achievement at a ceremony at its state-of-the-art plant in Bin Qasim, Karachi, which is Changan's only right-hand drive facility and a key part of its global supply chain, a statement said on Tuesday .
The 40,000 units include vehicles from Changan's diverse portfolio of SUVs, sedans, MPVs and pickups, which have gained popularity in the Pakistani market due to their quality, performance and affordability.
