Climate emergency

The climate crisis poses a grave threat to our planet and the country. We face water scarcity, pollution, deforestation, and habitat loss. Rivers are dirty with sewage, and deltas, which are important ecosystems, are being destroyed. It is crucial to stop harming the environment. The nation’s cities are growing without proper planning and there is no organized plan for dealing with the increasing urban population.

The global temperature is rising every year, bringing abnormal changes to the world. The previous year has been widely reported to have been the hottest on record and 2024 is expected to break this record. Pakistan is, I feel, largely ignoring the climate change issue and facing dire consequences for doing so. If we continue to ignore climate change, we will face even more devastating losses in the future.
