ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUIF) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who will go to Afghanistan next week at the invitation of the Taliban government, held a briefing with the relevant officers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and exchanged views on various aspects the Afghan policy.

On Thursday night, he met at his Islamabad residence observers, analysts and other relevant personalities who keep an eye on Afghan affairs. The experts includedwell-known journalists and analysts Hamid Mir, Salim Safi, Tahir Khan and Major (retd) Aamir.

It should be remembered that the representative of the Taliban government and Afghan chargé d’affaires in Islamabad had officially invited Maulana Fazlur Rehman a few days ago to come to Afghanistan on behalf of his government.
