KARACHI: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar is not all about politics and has offered a few light-hearted tips for dealing with situations involving familial and social life.
He was answering questions from citizens through a section of media on the occasion of New Year. When a citizen asked what they should do if they had a crazy mother-in-law, the prime minister said he would perhaps go on a crisis management course.
Responding to another query what one should do if one wants to impress someone and one has no money, he said he had never tried in his life to impress anybody, but he had always been impressed by many others.
In reply to a question involving a predicament of getting a really good job abroad and having to leave one’s love, Kakar said: “I guess you get love by chance and job according to your ability. You will have the chance to have this job according to your ability. Don’t miss the chance.”
“Are girls attracted to men with political power” was another question he was asked to answer. The PM replied: “It [the question] should be asked by the girls rather than by myself, but I would presume, maybe yes or I don’t know. I really don’t know the answer.”
When asked if one at the age of 52 should marry a woman one liked. Kakar said: “Of course, even if you are 82, do consider it.”
