How long will it take for the world to realize that violence is not the answer? Seventy-five days have passed since a settler-state’s army backed by the powerful allies launched its war against a tiny, besieged strip. More than 20,000 people have died (experts suggest that the actual numbers are more than this), and over one million people have been displaced. The small Palestinian city which once was full of life has now become a picture of ruins and helplessness.
The settler state is live streaming its war crimes, and the world is not paying any attention to it. Resolutions adopted by countries are being vetoed by the settler-state’s partner-in-crime. While world leaders shamelessly show their cruelty, during the 75-day-long period (and long before the current situation), Palestinians have shown more humanity and compassion than anyone else. We hope to see them free.
