ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Ejazul Haq, son of former president and army chief General Ziaul Haq, posted on his X account on Sunday, that if the Supreme Court wanted to revisit the Bhutto case, it should also answer following questions:
Who actually did murdered of Nawab Ahmad Khan Kasuri (father of Ahmad Raza Kasuri, former MNA), when no one else has ever been suspected of killing him?
Ejazul Haq, who is also president of his PML-Zia party, said in his 300-word version: why did all five judges convicted Bhutto of murder in the Lahore High Court, and all seven judges of the Supreme Court dismissed his review petition?Why did all seven judges convict Bhutto’s Federal Security Force (FSF) assassins, after seeing so much hard evidence at the crime scene?
Are all seven SC judges and all five LHC judges wrong that Bhutto’s private security force murdered Kasuri?Ejaz posed another questions whether General Zia was influencing the judges? Why did he appoint judge Haleem as chief justice of Pakistan (CJP), longest serving ever, after he acquitted Bhutto in the minority?
Ejazul Haq said that now that jiyala lobby had been conclusively disproven that Nasim Hasan Shah said he was influenced, does that reference still stand? If so, why does jiyala lobby hide the facts and never refer to real part of the interview where Nasim Hasan Shah was directly asked about it and he refuted it?
Ejaz posed another question that if the Supreme Court could revisit a conclusive finding of a fact and law in advisory jurisdiction after 44 years?
Should the judiciary spend its time exonerating dead civilian martial law administrators, when thousands of living people are still asking for justice?Since everybody knows who murdered Nawab Kasuri, an innocent man, maybe the Supreme Court can focus on punishing who killed Benazir? Unlike Kasuri, that crime is still unsolved, son of General Zia concluded.
