RAWALPINDI: While announcing to move the British courts, Haleema Khan, sister of former chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said that it was sad that they had to knock on the doors of international courts for justice.
While talking to journalists outside Adiala Jail on Thursday, she said they are filing suit in British court to save Imran Khan from being condemned to the gallows like Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
She said that media persons must be allowed to cover the trial inside the jail but they were being denied the opportunity to perform their professional duties. Haleema said they strongly feared that Imran Khan may be executed like Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
Haleema said that it was sad that they had to move international courts in their desperation to save Imran Khan from execution as they do not expect justice from local courts.
