Work-related stress is a growing problem around the globe. Prolonged stress leads to a lack of productivity and other psychological and social problems. Pakistan is no exception to this trend and the recent surge in inflation has only exacerbated the problem.
Long working hours, an unsafe environment, and low wages make for a toxic cocktail that leaves many young Pakistanis anxious and depressed. They must be given more opportunities to rest and relax and learn stress-management techniques. This will not only improve their mental health but make them better and more productive workers. Fair wages are also a must.
