Personnel of the Customs Intelligence on Sunday seized a non-custom-paid vehicle from the residence of a leader of Sindh’s former ruling party in DHA.

Officials said the non-custom paid Land Cruiser worth tens of millions of rupees was being used by a man, Sadiq, a political leader. Moreover, the 2017 model Land Cruiser was brought to Pakistan by a foreigner for its use in hunting. The Customs duty and taxes imposed were temporarily exempted, Customs officials said. They added that the vehicle, which was brought to the country for a temporary period, did not go back and was used by Sadiq.
