ISLAMABAD: The corps commanders conference was held on Thursday at the General Headquarters here. Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif chaired the meeting, says the Inter-Services Public Relations press release.
Apart from reviewing the progress of the ongoing counter terrorism operations, the forum was also apprised of the activities of hostile intelligence agencies inside Pakistan and the response thereof.
During the meeting, the corps commanders resolved to take strict action against the hostile intelligence agencies.An exhaustive review of professional matters, internal and external security situation, including the ongoing operations against terrorists in Shawal and the rest of the country, were discussed.It was resolved to take all measures to block hostile acts against Pakistan, which can undermine the country’s security and growth, the news release added.
