Heads must roll and those at the helm of affairs must be held accountable for our dismal performance in the T20 tournament. Unless an example is made out of the management, coaching staff and players responsible for the debacle we cannot start our journey towards success.
We need to revamp of our cricket structure. No matter how talented a player is or how well he performs, there should be a zero-tolerance policy with regard to fitness and discipline. The PCB should crush player power and stop being blackmailed by players. The board should also stop getting bullied by the media, and the media should avoid meddling in team selection. An honest and competent selection committee should induct new talent. There is nothing wrong in having a foreign coach. What matters is how well the coach has delivered, what the success ratio is and how well the players have performed.
