Mrs Hinch opens up about traumatic week as son battles rare 'Kawasaki' disease

The doting mom shared two pictures of her toddler updating her followers that he was released from the hospital

Sophie Hinchliffe, better known online as Mrs. Hinch, broke heartbreaking news to her fans on Instagram this week.

Her 3-year-old son Ronnie has reportedly been diagnosed with the uncommon inflammatory illness Kawasaki.

Taking to Instagram, Sophie shared how she felt proud of her son’s bravery while also explaining the traumatic experience that her family had to go through during the past week.

She said, “Our family has been shaken by this past week," adding that her son is diagnosed with a disease (Kawasaki) that she had never heard of before.

The disease reportedly affects eight out of 100,000 thousand children under the age of 5 in the UK.

The 33-year-old social media influencer has more than 4.7 million Instagram followers and she shares two children Ronnie and Lennie with her husband Jamie.

The doting mom shared two pictures of her toddler updating her followers that he was released from the hospital. She captioned the pictures as, “FINALLY, we can home now Mommy.”

She lamented that the past 10 days had been like a real-life nightmare. “Ron, you are so brave, so strong, so loved, and just beautifully unique darling boy.”

She was also grateful to her followers for their kind messages.

As per Metro UK, Sophie's son's health deteriorated when his temperature rose to 40 at home. He was hurried to the hospital in an ambulance and admitted immediately.

She also praised doctors and other medical staff for their full assistance.
